Iridescent made its first appearance for 2017 when their design graced the Red Carpet in Hollywood, California for the 89th Annual Academy Awards better know as the OSCARS. Iridescent was contacted by Ms. Petula Skeete, hairstylist for Robin Roberts - host of ABC’s Good Morning America, to create a red carpet worthy gown. Through the use of technology, Iridecent received Ms. Petula Skeete’s measurements and started their creation. After selecting the fabric and having the measurements at hand, the sketch came to fruition without a single live fitting. Pictures of the design were to Ms. Skeete, who then gave her suggestionsforalteringtohertaste.Iridescentbelievesthatallourpiecesmustnotonlybe unique and fashionable but should also reflect the personality of the individual it is created for, thus we complied and voilà our first ever Academy Awards Red Carpet Dress was complete.
